1 Year Course
This foundation year teaches the fundamentals to young students. Through the exploration of basic creative techniques, students discover the range of possibilities and forge their creative character. Open-mindedness and general culture are on the agenda ; they are the pillars necessary for a young designer to develop his or her own universe. This year also helps students to refine their professional projects and to assert a pathway in the the choice of streams on offer.
This foundation year in French as a Foreign Language (FLE), in partnership with Campus France, is aimed at non French-speaking international students who wish to study design careers. Based on the foundation course in applied arts with French lessons organised by a specialised training institution. A specific timetable is adapted to allow the successful integration of new students.
This short course is based on learning the fundamentals in graphic design and the command of graphics production tools. The greatest focus of teaching is on the exploration of two professional worlds : that of printed media with a command of the graphic code, and that of digital media with web design, mobile applications and social networks. The Adobe® suite and the basics of internet development are put in application.
Once the basics have been acquired in a foundation year, a MANAA and/or after a pass in a specific baccalauréat, this course is designed to develop students’ creative skill to a high level. It offers the opportunity to tackle all types of projects : graphic design, packaging design, webdesign , or communicaton. Designers with the capacity to take on a whole project with method, creativity and a head for organisation will tend towards the position of artistic director.
This course is available to those at post-graduate level in further education. It teaches the young designer the skills specific to digital work and develops reflection and the global implementation of a project, in collaboration with specialist professionals. This sandwich course offers both time at work and training seminars at the school. Each seminar brings a new project, developped as a team and presented to a jury of professionals.
Plunged into the latest developments in digital transformation, students learn to design digital content on all media, whether animated, illustrated or synthetic, and to create attractive user interfaces which encourage a unique user experience. This 1 year cross-media course is unique in Normandy in allowing students to specialise and professionalise their digital creation skills.
This specialist course offers a programme full of promise for students who are passionate about virtual worlds : acquire the technical and artistic skills required by the worlds of design, special effects, architecture, video games and animation. The teaching of software from the 3D world brings strong technical added value to this course.
This course offers not only a general education in 3D but also allows students to acquire specific skills in character design and environment concept design. The 3D Character Animation diploma provides the technical skills and artistic know-how for work as a graphic world designer or production line animators in video games, advertising or animated films.

The course is taught by specialists in these disciplines. Each new class is sponsored by a recognised author : Zep, Arthur de Pins, Patricia Lyfoung, Lupano…
The Graphic Arts course offers a theoretical, practical and artistic education on careers in illustrative graphic design. Drawing techniques and image culture form the main part of the course. Professional support throughout the learning process helps students to define their own graphic identity.
The preparatory class is aimed at candidates who wish to get a place on an audiovisual course. It’s a year of discovery and experimentation and provides the scientific and technical basics necessary for a place on a BTS course (editing, filming, directing shorts…).
Professionals give talks to share their experience with students and help them make their career choices.
The BTS option Editing/Postproduction teaches the technical skills and artistic know-how needed to realise the editing and postproduction of an audiovisual piece of work or product: short film, long film, advertisement… Students learn to appropriate the different assembly techniques, to select shots taken on a shoot and master the media specific to making the final cut of an audiovisual project.

The campuses has associations (Loi 1901), usually known as BDE – Bureau Des Étudiants (Student Bureau). They bring the extra conviviality and solidarity that are supportive on a daily basis.
The WEI – The Induction Day and Weekend
At the start of term every year the BDE organises either an induction day or weekend to allow new students to meet in a festive holiday atmosphere and returning students to catch up with each other.
Students regularly organise social events independently from the schools. These events are important for letting off steam and encouraging cohesion and exchange with students in other classes or streams.
Sponsoring of foundation students
A sponsor system linking old and new students has been put into place, on the initiative of students and members of the Student Bureau. On a reciprocal voluntary basis, it helps students to settle in and offers them a benevolent source of support.
Day of culture
When possible, the BDE organise cultural trips. They offer students access to museums or exhibitions relevant to their studies for a small sum, often subsidised by the school : Le Louvre, musée de l’Art Ludique, Musée des Arts décoratifs, Grand Palais…
