The Graphic Designer is a visual communications professional. A versatile designer who has a strong command of the use of drawing, image and typography combined to produce informative messages and visuals. He or she knows how to combine traditional and graphics techniques using professional creation, editing (Adobe Illustrator® and Adobe Photoshop®) and layout (Adobe InDesign®) software. He or she shares ideas in steps, starting with research and the creation of a mood board. Next comes the planning of inital ideas – the rough or draft stage. Finally, in collaboration with the client, the graphics design project is finalised and submitted in an exploitable format for poster printing, for example, or with an integrator if the work is destined for digital use (internet, mobile application or video).
